Telangana Govt constitutes State Information Commission

Hyderabad: The State Government has finally constituted the Telangana State Information Commission.
Chief Secretary S.P. Singh on Wednesday issued the orders for the constitution of Commission as per Sub-Section (I) of Section 15 of RTI Act 2005 (Central Act 22 of 2005).
In another order, the Chief Sectary announced the constitution of a committee to recommend candidates for appointment as State Chief Information Commissioner and State Information Commissioners. The committee will be headed by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao as Chairman while Leader of Opposition K. Jana Reddy and Deputy CM Mohammed Mahmood Ali will be its members.
