Observing that the public are in constant panic due to the bills being given by these hospitals, the Minister said that the hospitals are causing fear among pregnant women by conducting scanning and forcing operations on them for money.

Adding that the health of women is at stake, Harish Rao said that the state government is providing welfare schemes for the new mothers who are opting to have deliveries at the government hospitals where they are being given money and gifted kits.
