Hyderabad hit with heavy rains, downpour forecast for next five days

Rains lashed out at several parts of Hyderabad on Monday.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department's prediction, the rains are going to continue for the next five days in both the Telugu states.

The traffic was thrown out of gear at various locations in the city due to the continous downpour. Heavy rainfall is being recorded at areas such as Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, Mehdipatnam, Hitech City, SR Nagar, Neredmet, Tarnaka, Uppal and several areas in Secunderabad.

Several localities in Hyderabad were inundated due to flood water resulting in the suspension of the Metro Rail works at all the locations.
