KCR trying to cheat Singareni workers again: Uttam

Leaders of all opposition parties including TPCC President Capt. N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, Telangana TDP Working President A. Revanth Reddy and CPI leader Chada Venkat Reddy attended the all party meeting at Press Club in Somajiguda on Friday evening to discuss the finalise the common strategy for union elections in Singareni Collieries.
Speaking to media persons later, Uttam Kumar Reddy ridiculed the announcements made by the Chief Minister while addressing a press conference today at Telangana Bhavan. He said TRS Government did nothing for the welfare of Singareni workers during the last three years and now making lucrative promises in view of union elections. He slammed KCR for blaming the opposition parties over Hereditary Jobs issue. He said that the TRS Government was not serious on restoring hereditary jobs to Sinagreni workers and therefore, came up with a faulty order which could not withstand the scrutiny of the court. He said that the TRS Government took no legal steps to provide dependent jobs.
Uttam Kumar Reddy said that the fate of promises made by the Chief Minister today would be the same as that of promises made in TRS election manifesto. He alleged that KCR has excelled in the art of deceiving people with fake and lucrative promises. Once the elections are over, he will completely forget the welfare of Singareni workers, he said.
The TPCC Chief said KCR's tall promises clearly show that he was sensing a humiliating defeat for TRS-affiliated Boggu Gani Karmika Sangham (TBGKS) in union polls. He said that the Congress-affiliated Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC), CPI-affiliated All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) and TDP-backed Telugu Nadu Trade Union Council (TNTUC) would defeat the TRS-led union. He also accused the TRS of using liquor and money to lure the voters. He said that the deputation of ministers, MPs and MLAs of TRS for electioneering in Singareni elections shows that the Chief Minister feared a severe backlash. He said Singareni workers would teach KCR a fitting lesson by defeating TBGKS.
