Not ashamed to say Hyderabad roads bad: KTR
In what comes as a major embarrassment to the State government and the civic authorities, IT and MA &UD Minster K T Rama Rao said he was not ashamed of the bad roads in Hyderabad.
Hyderabad: In what comes as a major embarrassment to the State government and the civic authorities, IT and MA &UD Minster K T Rama Rao said he was not ashamed of the bad roads in Hyderabad.
“I am not ashamed to say that the situation of roads in Hyderabad is bad,” he said while speaking at function here on Tuesday.
Speaking at the launch of Hug Elan enabled fitness product in city, Rama Rao said the city had been witnessing cloudburst for the past 19 days or so. “People are living under tough conditions. I am well aware of the condition of roads and how they are posing problems to the citizens.
Don’t think because I have an escort, I am being guided over an elevated corridor. I also travel on the same roads and I know how bumpy the ride is.”
Rama Rao said the government had prepared a massive plan but it would take some time to improve the conditions of roads. The government was committed to change the situation, he added.
