The TPCC intends to unite the MLAs, MLCs and other prominent leaders of Reddy community working in other political parties. A section of the Reddy community leaders in Congress are of the belief that the party is losing prominence post Andhra Pradesh bifurcation. The Congress leaders want to fight against Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to make a Reddy leader the Chief Minister.
