KTR: Mission Bhagiratha will ensure supply drinking water to every household by 2018

He stated that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is keen to ensure safe drinking water supply to all habitations in the state and end the fluorosis woes in Nalgonda district with the implementation of Mission Bhagiratha.
Mentioning that 82 percent of the transmission pipelines were laid along with most of the critical structures were nearing completion under Mission Bhagiratha, KTR stated that bulk supply of drinking water will be available in most places by this year end while the entire state including every household will be covered by 2018.
The Minister also informed that the state government is taking up interlinking of pipelines with several municipalities and municipal corporations apart from the intra-village connection pipelines.
