Telangan bags best performing State awards
Telangana has bagged two prestigious State of the States Awards of the India Today here on Thursday. The awards, one for the Economy and one for the Environment and Cleanliness were received by IT Minister K T Rama Rao and Forests Minister Jogu Ramanna at a function here on Thursday. Telangana stood first in both the categories.
New Delhi: Telangana has bagged two prestigious State of the States Awards of the India Today here on Thursday. The awards, one for the Economy and one for the Environment and Cleanliness were received by IT Minister K T Rama Rao and Forests Minister Jogu Ramanna at a function here on Thursday. Telangana stood first in both the categories.
AP stood 14th and 4th in both the categories of Economy and Environment and Cleanliness. In addition, the State stood second in overall ranking of large States, sixth in ranking of large States in Education and seventh in Infrastructure. AP stood second in the rankings of large States in Agriculture while Telangana stood 12. In Inclusive Development, Telangana stood 3rd and AP stood 10th and in Tourism, Telangana stood 5th while AP stood at 19th position.
