For Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Hyderabad on November 28 to inaugurate the prestigious Metro Rail project, three temporary helipads are being constructed in Miyapur.

The Telangana government is ensuring a glitch-free touch down for the prime minister's chopper.

PM Modi and some Union Ministers will be arriving at the Begumpet airport on November 28 and head to Miyapur in a chopper to inaugurate the Metro Rail.

HMRL engineers initially faced issues in constructing triangular shaped helipads, each with a diametre of 30 metres owing to the alignment adjustments on the existing land at the station.

However, upon seeking technical guidance from the Aviation wing on developing Helipads, the HMRL authorities are in conducting the works at a brisk pace.

The Roads and Buildings (R&B) department officials, also offered their assistance by putting up barricades on the premises to restrict the entry of outsiders into the high-security zone and advised the HMRL authorities to continuously sprinkle water on the open land to prevent dust from rising during chopper landings.

On a permanent basis, a helipad has been constructed at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC), which is the main venue for the three-day Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) beginning fromNovember 28.
