Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Hyderabad on November 28 has been finalised. According to sources, the Prime Minister would arrive at Begumpet Airport between 2:30 pm and 2.45 pm by a special aircraft from New Delhi.
Hyderabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Hyderabad on November 28 has been finalised. According to sources, the Prime Minister would arrive at Begumpet Airport between 2:30 pm and 2.45 pm by a special aircraft from New Delhi.
The PM would reach Miyapur by a chopper from the airport to inaugurate the Metro Rail project. He would spend nearly 25 minutes after inauguration. The PM would unveil pylon before taking a Metro ride from Miyapur and Kukatpally, and back to Miyapur. Later, he would watch a slide show at the venue. Sources said that Modi will then fly to Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC), the venue for Global Entrepreneurs Summit, from Miyapur.
By 4 pm, Modi would reach the convention centre for the inauguration of the summit, which would be held between 5 pm and 7 pm. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao would speak first at the inaugural followed by US President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka. KCR would speak for 5 minutes and Ivanka, for about 15 minutes.
Before Modi’s address, a video regarding the international entrepreneurship would be screened at the venue. The PM would speak for 15 to 25 minutes. Later, a few other international delegates would deliver speeches before winding up the inaugural session. By 7.30 pm, Modi would leave for Falaknuma Palace by road where the Union government would host dinner to all international delegates. He would spend at least one hour at the palace with international delegates. Around 9.30 pm, the Prime Minister would leave for Shamshabad airport to fly back to Delhi.
Meanwhile, Chief Secretary SP Singh instructed all the officials to make necessary arrangements, including security to the delegations, reception centre at airport to receive the international delegates, transport arrangements and other facilities like uninterrupted water and power supply during the 3-day summit in Hyderabad. The official instructed all the Secretaries of the departments concerned to coordinate for the successful conduct of the international conference.
Senior IPS officials have been given responsibility for security for Ivanka and PM's visit.
