Hyderabad: Two students belonged to Suraram Colony in the outskirts of the city, drowned in the Ghanpur Project under the limits of Papannapet in Medak district on Friday.
According to the police and locals, seven students from the Pranathi Degree College visited VanaDurga temple at Yedupayala. While they were taking bath in the Ghanpur Project, two of them drowned.
The deceased were identified as Anand (18) of Suraram Colony and Sidhartha (18) of GandiMysamma Crossroads. Police visited the spot after receiving information from fellow students and locals. SI Sandeep Reddy said that a case has been registered and investigation is on.
