Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Thursday inspected the Kaleshwaram project lift irrigation ongoing works in Karimnagar district.
With the state government aiming to lift water from Yellampally to Mid Manair, the Chief Minister inspected Tupakulagudem Barrage works, Medigadda, Sundilla, and Annaram Barrage and pump house works.
However, KCR expressed unhappiness over the progress of Tupakulagudem Barrage and directed the officials concerned to speed up the project works in stipulated time.
The government previously was scheduled to complete Kaleshwaram works by June 2018.
