Earlier, the government announced the study of Telugu language mandatory for all students till Class XII from the next academic year.

It is learned that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has made the decision regarding the usage of Telugu on signboards when the subject came up for discussion in Pragathi Bhavan.
The order will be issued by the labor department in two days.
