KTR's father-in-law used fake ST certificate to get job: Revanth Reddy
Congress leader and Kodangal MLA A. Revanth Reddy alleged that IT Minister K. Tarakarama Rao\'s father-in-law P. Harinath Rao used a fake ST certificate to get a government job.
Hyderabad: Congress leader and Kodangal MLA A. Revanth Reddy alleged that IT Minister K. Tarakarama Rao's father-in-law P. Harinath Rao used a fake ST certificate to get a government job.
Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan on Monday, Revanth Reddy said Harinath Rao does not belong to Scheduled Tribes. However, he used a fake ST certificate to get the job and did service for about 35 years. He said Harinath Rao was presently drawing a pension of nearly Rs. 40,000 per month.
Revanth Reddy accused Harinath Rao of taking away the job that should have been given to a ST person. He demanded that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao take action against Harinath Rao to restore confidence of STs. He said despite lodging a formal complaint along with documentary evidence no action has been taken against Harinath Rao as he was the father-in-law of IT Minister KTR.
He said that he would approach a court if no action is taken against Harinath Rao.
