Kothagudem: Warangal Range Inspector General of Police Y Nagi Reddy on Friday inaugurated the newly-constructed police subsidy canteen and guest houses here. He lauded Superintendent of Police Ambar Kishore Jha for taking welfare measures for the benefit of department personnel.

Addressing the media persons later, the IG said the newly-opened buildings were meant for the welfare of policemen in the new district. He praised the SP for putting efforts to get the canteen and guest houses completed fast.

The IG further announced that all technical facilities in the police stations would be provided soon.

Among those present were Bhadrachalam ACP Sunil Dutt, OSD P Ravinder, Armed Reserve DSP Kumara Swamy, Kothagudem DSP S M Ali, Yellandu DSP Prakash Rao, Palvoncha DSP Srinivas, Manuguru DSP R Saibaba and others. 

Meanwhile, the IG after holding a review meeting with top district police officials suggested that they should ensure there was no delay in the investigation of any case. He wanted them to be on the forefront in utilising the services of technical staff to prevent crimes. The IG asked the officials to create awareness to check crimes and added that all steps to ensure proper patrolling and beat should be taken up in all police stations.
