Jubilee Hills: ‘Stress Anxiety and Depression’ (S.A.D) is affecting more people than ever and physical activity is widely proven to be a solution for the same. In this regard, X60 CrossFit' organised Crossfit Games for corporates to fight stress, anxiety and depression here recently.

According to Assocham Study in 2016, 41.5 per cent of corporates have been diagnosed with depression, stress and anxiety.

After working closely with corporate firms, X60 organised the session to create awareness regarding mental health and work towards improving it by adopting a healthy and fitter lifestyle. Prominent corporate firms such as Microsoft, Cognizant, Virtusa, D-shaw, Optum, VSoft, Nest Away, EY, Antha, Arcsium, Zoho, Novartis participated in these competitions.

Giving details of the event Rishi founder and CEO of X60 crossfit said exercise is potent but underutilised antidepressant. “We are focused on increasing awareness about anxiety, stress, depression and how it can be resolved to a great extent by adopting a healthy lifestyle,” he said.

Mrs Universe 2017, Abhimanika, present at the event addressed the crowd and shared her experience on how she fought depression and the need for proper awareness on issues such as stress, depression and anxiety. Winners of this competition won gifts worth 25,000 and an exclusive crossfit membership were given. All the funds collected through registrations would be donated to fight S.A.D.
