MLA Ramalinga Reddy distributes Xmas largesse to poor Christians
The Telangana government is the first in the entire country to present new clothes to the people of all religions in the State, said the Legislative Assembly Estimates Committee Chairman, Dubbaka MLA S Ramalinga Reddy during the clothes distribution programme to the christians as Xmas largesse on behalf of the State government in the constituency headquarters in Siddipet district on Thursday.
Dubbaka (Siddipet): The Telangana government is the first in the entire country to present new clothes to the people of all religions in the State, said the Legislative Assembly Estimates Committee Chairman, Dubbaka MLA S Ramalinga Reddy during the clothes distribution programme to the christians as Xmas largesse on behalf of the State government in the constituency headquarters in Siddipet district on Thursday.
Extending the Christmas greetings by cutting a cake amid the elated christians, Ramalinga Reddy distributed new clothes to the poor Christian families in the constituency.
He said that the government is supporting the minorities in all aspects. Marking unity in diversity, the government will celebrate Christmas officially by organising dinners at all the mandal headquarters of the constituency with ZPTCs, MPPs and public representatives, said the legislator in the programme attended by MPP Kavitha and others.
Earlier, the MLA inspected several ongoing developmental works, including the construction of double bedroom houses in the constituency.
