‘Traditional Indian medicine is beneficial’
The two-day golden jubilee celebrations of Jayasurya Potti Sriramulu Homeo Medical College concluded on Sunday with a message that only the country’s traditional medicine would be beneficial to any problem.
Hyderabad: The two-day golden jubilee celebrations of Jayasurya Potti Sriramulu Homeo Medical College concluded on Sunday with a message that only the country’s traditional medicine would be beneficial to any problem.
The two-day golden jubilee celebrations were held in Jayasurya Potti Sriramulu Homeo Medical College at Ramanthapur to mark the 50th of its foundation. Telangana Medical Services and Infrastructure Corporation Chairman Paryada Krishnamurthy said that the Indian medicine has good future.
“With the help of Upanishads, there has been huge progress in Aayurveda, Unani, Homeo systems. Though people earlier preferred Alopathy which provided them immediate relief, they are now coming back to the traditional medicine for its effectiveness,” he said. Kaloji Narayan Rao University Registrar Dr Praveen said though every stream of medicine has its own specialty, the traditional medicine is the base for all. Aayush Director Rajender Reddy said that the Aayush has solutions to long-term ailments. Students belonging to all the batches since 1967 had attended the celebrations.
