KTR to attend Davos summit next month
IT minister KT Rama Rao will be attending the annual summit of the World Economic Forum (WEF) scheduled to be held in January 2018 at Davos in Switzerland.
IT minister KT Rama Rao will be attending the annual summit of the World Economic Forum (WEF) scheduled to be held in January 2018 at Davos in Switzerland.
It will be the first time, KTR will participate in the three-day summit beginning on January 23.
Around 2,500 businesspersons, political leaders and economists are expected to participate in the summit.
The Minister who will be accompanied by Telangana resident commissioner in Delhi Arvind Kumar, principal secretary (industries) Jayesh Ranjan and other officials, will interact with CEOs and chairpersons of various companies and seek investments for Telangana.
A statement from the IT Ministry said that KTR will brief the participants at the WEF about the Telangana’s industrial policy and regarding the investment opportunities in the state.
