DGP Mahender Reddy: Telangana police number one in the country
M Mahender Reddy on Sunday took charge from Anurag Sharma as the Director-General of Police(in-charge) of Telangana.
M Mahender Reddy on Sunday took charge from Anurag Sharma as the Director-General of Police(in-charge) of Telangana.
Mahender Reddy is the second DGP of Telangana state.
He thanked the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for giving him the responsibility as the head of the Telangana police and stated that efforts will continue in making Telangana a crime-free state.
Mentioning that the law and order was a foundation for the development of the state, M Mahender Reddy said that Telangana police system has stood in first place in the country with the police tackling the many challenges effectively post bifurcation.
He also said that the focus would be on implementation of friendly policing.
Also, Additional Commissioner VV Srinivasa Rao took charge as the in-charge Hyderabad Police Commissioner on Sunday.
