In an informal session with media persons, TPCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy informed that Rahul Gandhi's tour schedule will be finalized shortly.
The party’s top leaders including AICC secretary and Telangana affairs in charge, RC Khuntia held a meeting on Tuesday regarding the Congress strategy for 2019 polls in the state.
Measures to strengthen the party’s base at booth and mandal levels particularly mapping the voters and reaching them through social media coordinators were also discussed.
Apart from this, MIM senior leader and ex-corporator Khaja Bilal Ahmed, and hundreds of his supporters among others, formally joined the Congress party on Tuesday.
Uttam Kumar Reddy also shared regarding the changes being made in the Telangana Congress especially the leaders who are inactive in the party. He further stated that several TRS leaders including a few sitting MLAs are likely to join the Congress party after Sankranti.
