IT sleuths swoop on film producers
IT sleuths on Wednesday raided the offices of at least 10 Tollywood producers, including Suresh Babu, ‘Dil’ Raju, and C Kalyan. According to sources, the producers whose premises were searched included ‘Dil’ Raju, Suresh Babu, Radha Krishna (also Chinna Babu), Sharrath Marar, C Kalyan, DVV Danayya, Anand Prasad and a few more names are said to be in the list.
Hyderabad: IT sleuths on Wednesday raided the offices of at least 10 Tollywood producers, including Suresh Babu, ‘Dil’ Raju, and C Kalyan. According to sources, the producers whose premises were searched included ‘Dil’ Raju, Suresh Babu, Radha Krishna (also Chinna Babu), Sharrath Marar, C Kalyan, DVV Danayya, Anand Prasad and a few more names are said to be in the list.
They verified the documents available at the offices to find out if there were any discrepancies. The offices of Sri Venkateswara Creations (SVC), Suresh Productions, Haarika & Hassine Creations, Northstar Entertainment, CK Entertainments, DVV Entertainments LLP, Bhavya Creations were among the offices that were searched as part of the coordinated operation in the City by the IT officials.
It is believed that the officials targeted the houses and offices of the producers who were reaping huge profits, while making hit movies. The top grossers which were recently released include Jaisimha, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, produced by C Kalyan and Agnyaathavaasi, starring Pawan Kalyan was produced by production house Haarika & Hassine Creations. Offices of both were searched by the officials till late evening.
