Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) chief spokesperson Dr Sravan Dasoju along with former MP M Anjan Yadav and other Congress leaders on Wednesday lodged a complaint with the Central Crime Station in Hyderabad alleging that a fake message regarding his exit from the party was being circulated by some unidentified persons.

In his complaint, Sravan Dasoju said that a picture with some text in the Telugu language was being circulated to tarnish his image adding that it was not true that he was exiting Congress.

The message reportedly said, “There is a severe injustice to BCs in the Congress Party; Hence I decided to leave the party; I am not able to adjust to the Reddy’s supremacy.”

Stating that he has not prepared such message nor did he circulate it, the Congress leader said that these unknown offenders are sending these images to netizens across the world through WhatsApp including in Telangana.

Calling it a conspiracy to create a rift within the Congress party, he said that the fraudulent act of spreading the false message is nothing but a serious offence, violating the rule of law while those involved should be arrested and tried under suitable criminal laws.
