A 76-year-old man was arrested on Thursday in Hyderabad for impregnating a 13-year-old girl.
A 76-year-old man was arrested on Thursday in Hyderabad for impregnating a 13-year-old girl.
The accused, identified as Abdul Wahab has been booked under provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
According to the police, the accused stays in the same locality as the victim. The parents of the girl lodged a complaint with the police that Abdul Wahab had sexually exploited their daughter several times since June to September last year by luring her with chocolates and snacks.
The girl is now pregnant. Following the complaint, Wahab was arrested and a case has been registered.
