Vice-President Muppavarapu Venkaiah Naidu inaugurated the first golden temple at Banjara Hills on Sunday. He unveiled the inauguration plaque of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple at Road No 12, Banjara Hills. About 3.5kgs of Gold worth Rs 4 crore has been used in construction of Golden Temple and Rs 15 crore is spent on building the temple.

He unveiled the inauguration plaque of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple at Road No 12, Banjara Hills. On Sunday, the main Kumbhaprokshana day all the rituals like Poornahuti, Prana prathistha, samporkshana were performed under the auspicious presence of Chinna Jeeyar Swamy and Madhu Pandit Dasa. The inauguration is called Swayambhu Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Jeernoddharana Prayuktha Nootana Swarna Alaya Prathishta Kumbhaprokshana Mahotsavam.

The inauguration rituals and consecration ceremonies started a week ago with the Ankurarpana culminated with the concluding rituals poornahuti, prana prathistha, alaya vimana shikara prokshana. All of the consecration ceremonies rituals were done strictly as per Pancharatrika Veda Agama Shastras and the Shiva temple rituals as per shaivaite agama under the supervision of expert Yagnacharya’s Chinna Jeeyar swamy ashramam. The event concluded with the kalyanam of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy with a sumptuous feast for all the participating devotees.
