Dattatreya’s son dies of heart attack
In a tragic incident, former Union Minister and Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Bandaru Dattatreya’s son, Vaishnav Bandaru (21), died of a massive heart attack on Wednesday. Vaishnav Bandaru was pursuing third-year MBBS course at the MediCiti Medical College in the city.
Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, former Union Minister and Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Bandaru Dattatreya’s son, Vaishnav Bandaru (21), died of a massive heart attack on Wednesday. Vaishnav Bandaru was pursuing third-year MBBS course at the MediCiti Medical College in the city.
According to sources, Vaishnav collapsed while having dinner on Tuesday night. He was immediately rushed to a private hospital by his cousins who are also practicing doctors and were present at Vaishnav’s residence at the time of incident.
His health deteriorated and he died at around 1:30 am. Hyderabad Mayor Bothu Rammohan, and MLC Ramchander Rao went to the hospital at midnight after learning the news.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, Union Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Ministers Nayini Narasimha Reddy and Talasani Srinivas Yadav were amongst the people who condoled the bereaved family.
Many BJP leaders including its State president K Laxman and other legislators called on the former Union Minister.
