AS Rao Nagar: Organisers of Kamala Nagar Senior Citizen Welfare Association has created a new tradition by celebrating birthdays of senior citizens on every month-end who are born in the same month.
The Association celebrated birthday of 21 members on Wednesday. Local corporator Pavani Reddy felicitated them with shawls. The corporator appreciated the organisers and advised them to continue the tradition. She wished all of them a long life.
Pavani said that by doing so, the Association became a role model to next generation. Association president Ammana Sastrulu, members Peddi Narasimha, Venkat Reddy, Sangaiah, Parthasarathi, MS Chari, Prabhakar, Somaiah, Sambasiva Rao were present.
