According to businessmen, it takes more than a month to complete a carpet, if woven by hand and it depends on their size. The machine woven carpet is made within 1 or 2 days. Sizes of both handmade and machine ranges from 3ft × 5ft to 9ft ×12ft. While the price of these carpets ranges from Rs 600 to Rs 12000 depending on their size. “Carpets are available in many colours, but the demand of maroon and red is high, it's referred by customers as ‘Red Carpet’,” added Naushad.
