Malkajgiri: Baddam Parashuram Reddy has expressed a keen desire that the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) allot Assembly tickets to him for the ensuing election. The agitators on Tuesday submitted a representation, that they should be recognised and allotted the TRS tickets, at the Gandhi statue here.
Reddy, who is in-charge of the Medchal-Malkajgiri constituency, told press persons that he could not contest in the 2014 polls because of ill-health. He recalled that during the separatist struggle he had gone to jail many times. He said he had been active in the agitation since 2001,while pressing for the ticket.
Among those present at the press meet were former corporator Prem Kumar, A K Murugesh, Gunda Nirajan, Krishna Madiga, Chandrakanth, Khaleel, Shekhar Goud, Upender, Mohan Reddy, Santosh, amdas, Fareed Khan, Babu Rao, Srinivas.
