Jogipet: Former Deputy chief Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha was taken into custody by police, at Muthangi near Patancheru on Tuesday while he was on his way to Sangareddy to lodge protest against the arrest of Ex-MLA Jaggareddy.

He was shifted to BDL Bahanur police station. Condemning the arrest of Raja Narsimha, congress party activists burnt the effigy of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. Party President of Andole Mandal sivaraj, Jogipet town president G Sathiah, councilor Sunil, Sharat Kumar and others were present.
