People advised to use energy judicially

Khammam: It is the responsibility of everyone to conserve the fossil fuels like petrol, diesel and natural gas as they are non-renewable, advised DRDA Project Director Indumathi on Tuesday.

An awareness programme on conservation of energy resources was held under the leadership of T Srinivas Rao, the Project Director of Telangana State Renewabale Energy Development Corporation Limited (TSREDCO) here at Ambedkar Bhavan in Khammam.

Speaking on the occasion, Indumathi said the energy resources that are available from fossil fuels are restricted to only some areas and are present at few places across the world. As they are not available in required amounts everywhere in the world and they are not increasing with the increase in population. So, everyone must use them judicially and conserve it for the sake of future generations, she suggested.

Later, she inspected various stalls that were set up on the occasion. District Horticulture Officer Anasuya, lead bank manager C Chandrashekar, Pavan Kumar, Bhaskar Rao, ATMA technical officer V Subramanyam, Additional Engineer V Venkateshwar Rao, REDCO District Manager V Subramanyam, G Shobal Babu and I Uma Maheshwar Rao and members of Self Help Groups and others were present on the occasion.
