Parigi: Students of Sri Saraswathi Sishu Mandir School on Wednesday bid adieu to Elephant headed Lord by immersing a clay idol in Laknavaram Cheruvu. Earlier, along with school management and teachers they performed puja to the idol in the school premises.
After auctioning the laddu, they took procession in streets. The students enthral the onlookers on the roads with their song and dance performances like ‘chekka bhajana’, ‘kolatam’ and bathukamma. School headmaster K Mallesh, T Santhu Singh led the procession.
