2-day workshop begins
A twoday national workshop on civil engineering in practice has begun at the SVS Group of Institutions in Hanamkonda on Friday The workshop was inaugurated by Dr P G Shastri, former Director of NIT Warangal and former consultant of World Bank on Hydrology projects
Warangal: A two-day national workshop on civil engineering in practice has begun at the SVS Group of Institutions in Hanamkonda on Friday. The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. P G Shastri, former Director of NIT Warangal and former consultant of World Bank on Hydrology projects.
Presiding over the workshop, Dr E Thirumal Rao, the Chairman of SVS Group of Institutions and president of Telangana Professional Colleges Managements Association, has told students and faculty of the institutions to learn from the experts’ methodological explanations presented in the form of slides and PPT on the designing aspects of Civil engineering. Dr Rao also announced cash and other awards for the all-round performing students which will be given tomorrow during valedictory ceremony.
Retired Prof Dr. M Pandu Ranga Rao, M Vishweshwar Rao, an industrialist and social worker, Head of the Civil Engineering Department P Ramaiah, Principal Dr. B Raghu, Vice Principal Prof. Ajendra Kumar Rathod, Coordinator S Kamalakar Rao, faculty of Civil Engineering Dept and Nageshwar Rao were among others present.
