Gadwal: As many as 50 local leaders from various parties joined the Congress party on Wednesday in presence of Alampur Congress MLA Sampath Kumar.
Local leaders, farmers, youth and women groups from villages of Venu Sompur and Kesavaram villages vowed their alliance with the Congress party and took an oath that they would work for the victory of the party in Ija mandal in the upcoming elections.
The MLA invited all these local leaders by offering them khadua and sought their full support in the upcoming elections his victory from Alampur constituency.
