Mock polling held at Kondapaka

Siddipet: In view of forthcoming elections, district Collector Krishna organized a mock poll at FLC store room, Kondapaka on Thursday in the presence of representatives of the recognized political parties. Mock polling was held to bring transparency in the election process and increase awareness on the functioning of EVMs and VVVPATs, he said.

This helped in clarifying apprehensions and doubts among political parties, he said. He expressed his happiness that voters can now know who they voted for. Joint collector Padmakar, DRO Chandrashekhar, election staff, and representatives of political parties and others were present on the occasion.
