Narsapur: Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao said that the TRS is the only party that keeps its promises. Speaking at a meeting on Wednesday organised on the occasion of several leaders from Veldurthi and Hatnoora Mandals joining TRS, he said that after the release of partial manifesto by the TRS on Tuesday, Congress got scared to contest the elections. He said that Congress won’t get even opposition status in the next term.

Citing various welfare and development schemes by TRS government, he said that K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) has ensured that the fruits of development reached people.

Praising the farmer-friendly policies and schemes of KCR, he said that no government in the world has ever provided investment to farmers. Expressing confidence over KCR becoming the Chief Minister again, he said that people are very happy about the TRS manifesto. Criticizing the former Minister Sunitha Reddy for referring check dams constructed by TRS as useless, he said that she never brought any funds for the development of the constituency in the past.

Madan Reddy, TRS candidate and former MLA, said he was receiving good response from people because he always worked for them. He exuded confidence that he would win with a huge majority. ZP Chairman Rajamani Murali Yadav, district TRS president Murali Yadav, Srinivas Goud, Mansoor, B Shekhar, Narsimha Reddy, Narsinga Rao, Habib Khan, Bikshapathi, and others participated in the meeting.
