Vote for Congress for rapid devp: Revanth Reddy

Zaheerabad: Congress party organised a massive public meeting here on Sunday, and the Congress working president, Revanth Reddy, participated in the meeting as the chief guest. Party activists, led by the former minister and Zaheerabad Congress party candidate, Geetha Reddy, participated in a massive bike rally with 1,000 bikes and welcomed Revanth Reddy.

Speaking at the public meeting held after the rally, Revanth Reddy said that Zaheerabad has been an invincible fort for Congress party and that the party won 12 out of 13 elections since 1956. Answering KCR’s statement as to why people should vote Congress, Revanth Reddy said that it was Congress which introduced free power, fee reimbursement, reservations for SCs and STs and brought NIMS to Zaheerabad and that it deserves public vote. Remembering the sacrifice made by Sonia Gandhi, who has rejected PM post despite Congress winning twice at the centre, he ridiculed the rule of KCR family members. He promised that Congress would give employment to 1 lakh people within 100 days of coming to power. He appealed to people to vote for Congress and bring it back to power.
