VV Vinayak’s latest outing ‘Intelligent’ starring Sai Dharam Tej and Lavanya Tripathi turned out to be his biggest nightmare. This film turned out to be an outright disaster. Sold for 27 crores worldwide, the film collected a meagre amount of 3.65 crore share which explains everything.
The final collections of ‘Intelligent’ area wise were pretty low. It collected 80 lakhs in Nizam, 48 lakhs in Vizag, 15 in Nellore and 70 in Ceeded region. The amounts in East and West Godavari were 35 and 22 lakhs respectively. In the film combinedly minted 60 lakhs in Krishna and Guntur. Totally, it collected 3.3 crores in AP and Telangana region. It collected a minimal 20 lakhs in Karnataka and 15 lakhs in USA and rest combinedly.
By recovering only 13.5 percent of its investment, ‘Intelligent’ entered into the list of one of the biggest disasters in the history ever. Hope the team comes out of this and bounce back as soon as possible.
