On a shocking note, young and talented actor Raj Tarun's father Basavaraju was sentenced to jail for three years for taking debt on fake gold.
His complete name is Nidamarthi Basavaraju and worked as a special assistant cashier in Simhachalam region during 2013 and got a loan of Rs 9.85 lakhs through fake gold.
As per the reports, along with few others, Basavaraju’s wife Rajya Lakshmi took the loan through the fake gold, and the audit revealed it. A case has been registered against him at Gopalapatnam police station and after a thorough investigation, Vishakhapatnam Second Metropolitan Chief Magistrate Sunny Parveen Sultana Begum shared the court decision that the court has imposed three years of imprisonment along with Rs 20000 fine.
