Complete road-laying works fast: Karimnagar Collector
The officials of Roads and Buildings department were directed to complete road laying works within the dead line mentioned in the agreement at a review meeting held on Thursday.
Karimnagar: The officials of Roads and Buildings department were directed to complete road laying works within the dead line mentioned in the agreement at a review meeting held on Thursday.
District Collector Sarfaraz Ahmed chaired the meeting with officials of R&B and Panchayat Raj departments at the Collectorate conference hall in Karimnagar.
Addressing the officials, the Collector ordered the officials to invite tenders immediately to the works that were granted, for completing them as early as possible.
They were told to coordinate with officials of electricity department for removing electric poles that hinder the road laying works.
He also directed them to start the road laying works immediately that were not started yet.
The Collector suggested the officials to coordinate with Rural Water Supply department officials to find about water pipelines that were already laid and coming in the way of road laying works.
The officials told to submit reports after conducting a survey of possibilities of laying of road above the LMD from Hyderabad to Karimnagar.
R&B department officer Raghava Chary, Panchayat Raj Executive Engineer Mruthyunjayam and R&B Divisional Engineer Venkata Ramana were present along with other officials.
