Karimnagar: All 10th class students studying in government high schools must pass in SSC board examinations and score 10/10 GPA marks in every subject, said District Collector Sarfaraz Ahmed in Karimnagar on Friday. He was the chief guest at the programme of ‘Supplying snacks to SSC students’ at Karkhanagadda Government High School here, organised by City Mayor Ravinder Singh.

The Mayor set an example for other people representatives of their areas to come forward and start the programme at their places.

An educated citizen is power to the nation. Every student, by studying hard, should become the power of nation and should play an active role in its development, he advised. He told the teachers to treat every student like their own child by taking care of them and giving correct suggestions to achieve good results in the examinations. He informed that those students, who score 10/10 GPA will be felicitated at a special programme after the results.

Speaking on the occasion, City Mayor Ravinder Singh suggested the students that 10th class is a strong foundation for the bright future of every SSC student for reaching higher positions.Since almost all SSC students have been studying hard right from morning to evening attending special classes and writing revision tests, snacks are being supplied as supplementary food by collecting funds from donors.

He also said the representatives of ‘KCR Seva Dal’ came forward to give an examination kit consisting of exam pad, pen, pencil and eraser to each SSC student studying in government schools in Karimnagar city.City Municipal Commissioner Shashank, Karkhanagadda Government High School Principal Krishna Gopal, Corporators Edla Kavitha, Y Sunil Rao and Mandal Education Officer Chukka Reddy were present along with others.
