The event will take place at Federation of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTAPCCI) auditorium Red Hills in the State capital at 7 pm, informed the SIO regional organizer Syed Ahmed Ali The documentary titled ‘Dreams Choked’ depicts the condition of the schools in the State and is produced by Education Department of the SIO Telangana.

Telangana JAC chairman M Kodandaram, State government advisor on Minority Welfare AK Khan and the SIO State President Laiq Ahmed Khan will attend the documentary release.

The Dy.CM K Srihari has also been invited to attend the documentary release. Speaking to The Hans India Ahmed Ali informed that the documentary has been produced to highlight major problems like improper student-teacher ratio, lack of infrastructure at government school. It is aimed at appealing the government to come out remedial measures.

He said that the SIO has in the past brought out a book titled ‘Education in Telangana’ compiled by Talha Faiyazuddin of the SIO education wing. SIO believes that education is fundamental right of every child and youth of this state.

State government should immediately issue fee regulatory guidelines to check private schools that are collecting huge fees. Similarly government should form a committee to look into the matter of engineering education which is in bad shape.

Reforms should be brought to address the issue of lack of employability skills among engineering graduates, Ali said.
