Karimnagar: Police personnel must establish friendly relationship with all sections of people, which will be helpful in maintaining law and order, said Deputy Inspector of General (DIG) of Karimnagar range C Ravi Varma.

The DIG inaugurated the Stipendiary Trainee Police Constable Training programme that would be held for nine months at the Police Training Centre in Karimnagar on Thursday.

Addressing the trainee police constables, the DIG said the police personnel must maintain physical fitness till their retirement by doing regular exercises and meditation along with practising yoga daily.

Several police personnel had sacrificed their lives and to maintain peace and harmony people in the society. To fulfil their aspirations, the budding police personnel must work hard to provide better services, he advised.

By concentrating on each and every topic explained in the training period, the trainee police constables must implement them successfully while discharging their duties and must feel lucky enough to get a job in the police department, said the DIG C Ravi Verma.

As many as 261 members from Hyderabad, Cyberabad, Warangal, Khammam, Karimnagar, Nalgonda, Adilabad, Nizamabad and Sangareddy districts attended the Stipendiary Trainee Police Constable Training.

In-charge Principal Ram Reddy, DSPs Bhimrao and Lakshmi Narayana, Circle Inspectors Kamalakar, Chandraiah and Naveen and Reserve Inspectors Narsaiah, Naveen, health official Suman and AO Srinivas were present along with others.
