Spend all funds by March-end, says Tummala
Roads and Buildings Minister Tummala Nageswar Rao on Friday directed all the district collectors to spend all Plan funds by March 31, the end of this financial year. Mancherial: Roads and Buildings Minister Tummala Nageswar Rao on Friday directed all the district collectors to spend all Plan funds by March 31, the end of this financial year. Addressing the district collectors in Telangana during a video conference from Hyderabad, along with Secretary of National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) Sunil Sharma, he emphasised the need for allotment of funds for land survey/acquisitions before March-end and completion of district-wise reviews.
District Collector R V Karnan told the Minister that land for the new collectorate building was already acquired and handed over the same to R & B department. The notification would be issued to acquire other lands by March 20. He stated that instructions would be issued to officials concerned to complete Chennur, Vemanapalli, Mukkuguda and Metlagudam works on time.
Joint-Collector Y Narender Rao, Bellampalli Sub-Collector Rahul Raj, R & B department EE K Vishwanath, NHIA EE Ramakrishna and others participated in the meeting.
