Warangal: The student organisations at Kakatiya University objected the decision to conduct a PG Common Entrance Test for admissions into all State universities in Telangana.

The leaders of NSUI, PDSU and other organisations found fault with the TSCHE’s reported decision to handover the responsibility of conducting the test to Osmania University. With the decision Kakatiya University would lose huge amount of income it earns through sale of applications, they said.

In a statement here on Friday NSUI KU in-charge Aluvala Karthik and PDSU In-charge Sutrapu Anil have demanded the TSCHE to withdraw the decision of conducting a common entrance test for all universities.

They staged a protest on KU campus on Friday demanding to continue the previous of practice conducting independent entrance test by KU for PG admissions. They accused the TSCHE of monopolising admissions into universities in the State.
