Warangal: Different organisations on Sunday organised programmes marking Fathers’ Day. A non-governmental organisation, Manava Seve Madhava Seva (MSMS) has organised blood donation camp at Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hospital in Warangal, where a large number of youth donated blood.

The blood donation camp was inaugurated by a senior doctor Bandela Mohan Rao. Speaking on the occasion, he said the desire to serve the society was admirable and the blood donation was the best way to serve the society.

By donating blood, one could serve precious lives in medical emergencies and youth should come forward to donate blood at regular intervals, Dr Mohan Rao said and appreciated the members of MSMS in organising the camp for the benefit of patients at the hospital.

MSMS president Uttamaraju Vikas and its member Valluri Pavan Kumar thanked the hospital management for permitting to conduct the blood donation camp at the hospital. They appealed the youth to come forward to work for the society by charitable acts.

MGM Hospital blood donation motivator Kalyani, MSMS members Purushotham, Damodar, Vamshi, donors Vijay, Akhil, Vamshi Krishna and others were present.

In another programme, the members of Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) have distributed fruits to inmates at Ekasila Old Age Home in the city on the day. The federation district vice-president D Naresh, CPM leader M Sampath, CITU leader M Sarangapani and others were present.
