US shooting victim Koppu Sharath laid to rest in Warangal

Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari and Warangal East MLA Konda Surekha consoling the parents of Sharath at Warangal on Thursday, who was shot dead in Kansas city.
Warangal: The body of Koppu Sharath, who was shot dead in a restaurant by an unknown miscreant at Kansas city, Missouri (US) on July 6, was laid to rest here on Thursday. Earlier, Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari consoled the parents and other family members of Sharath.
His body was flown from US to Hyderabad on Wednesday night. Srihari, who met the bereaved parents Koppula Rammohan and Malathi, assured them of extending necessary support from the State government. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that measures will be taken to post Rammohan, who is working with the BSNL in Hyderabad, and his wife Malathi, mandal revenue officer at Parvathagiri, at one place.
Referring to the government’s effort in bringing Sharath’s mortal remains to India within a week, he said that the government will provide better health care to Malathi, who is not doing well since her son’s death news broke.
Warangal East MLA Konda Surekha and Rural District Collector M Haritha were among others present. Warangal Urban District Collector Amrapali Kata met the bereaved family separately.
