The six-week programme that culminates into an art show, the preview of which was held yesterday at La Reserve-Beinvenue, Bordeaux, is an important feather in the young artist’s cap. The Fine Arts graduate from JNAFAU, and a post graduate from the University of Hyderabad, she displays quite a verve as an emerging artist and her works have been an interesting amalgamation of her surroundings, the life in all its forms, trappings of the modern world and folk elements.
Daughter of the famous Telangana artist Laxman Aelay, Priyanka set off on her own trajectory dabbling in a variety of media, transforming and emerging in the direction of creating an identity of her own. A small video clipping of her in Bordeaux gives just a glimpse of the body of work she is creating as a part of the programme.
