Looking beautiful is no ‘effortless’ task, especially in the morning rush hours. According to a recent survey, the average woman spends 55 minutes a day working on her appearance. Since your morning hours are so precious, let’s consider these tips for kicking your beauty routine into high-efficiency mode.

Organise and plan the previous night: A lot of time goes in finding things in the morning. Also planning your look the previous night, cuts the time we spend on making decisions in the morning.

Use a microfiber towel to wrap your hair after wash: These are much more absorbent than regular towels. This not only reduces your blow dry time by half, but also reduces the amount of heat you expose your hair to.

BB Cream: One of the wonders created by mankind, to use on a daily basis is a fantastic BB Cream, as one with SPF will offer hydration, smoothing, sun protection and illuminating benefits at the same time – so there’s no need to load up a concealer, foundation, moisturiser and sunscreen.

Do your makeup last: This may lead to smudges or runs which needs to be re-touched later, again consuming those few precious minutes of our lives.

Get the right haircut: With the right haircut you should be able to save 30 minutes of your time daily! Talk to your stylist about low-maintenance hairstyle for your hair type.

Cut non-essential items from your routine: Avoid unnecessary skin-care or beauty regime on daily basis like plucking your eyebrows, clipping cuticles or exfoliating. Keep it for the weekend.
