Zubi ties up with BITS for ARENA 2018

Hyderabad: City-based Zubi Cricket Academy has officially become the first cricket academy in India to partner with Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences (BITS) for the sixth edition of its annual national sports fest titled ARENA 2018.

First-ever title sponsor for ARENA’s Cricket event

It is one of the biggest sports fest in the country. This year, ARENA 2018 is an Inter Bits tournament ¬- a quadrennial event participated by players from all BITS campuses including Hyderabad, Pilani, Goa and Dubai.

As many as 400 national colleges are participating in different sports including Cricket, Football, hockey, Tennis, Table Tennis, Throw Ball, Squash, Snooker, Pool, Power Lifting, Kabaddi, Duathlon, Chess, Carrom, Body Building, Basketball, Badminton and Athletics.

Zubi Cricket Academy is the title sponsor of the Cricket event, being held from January 22 to 28 with 12 teams participating for the Arena 2018 Cricket title at the Bits Pilani Campus Grounds (Shameerpet). Last year, ARENA made a national impression drawing nearly 6000 students from different states. Founded in 2011, Zubi Cricket Academy has regularly outperformed itself by incorporating industry’s best in the form of distinct workshops of international stature.

The recently conducted cricket specific training workshop by international fitness expert Ali Mohammed, Face Yoga for Cricketers workshop by USA-certified international yoga trainer, dietician and former Mrs Asia International Ms Mansi Gulati, and the visit of England Cricket players to the academy grounds in the past are hard to miss.

Faiyaz Ahmed, Secretary of Zubi Cricket Academy expressed excitement on the partnership. He said “Zubi is excited to be not only the first to tie up with not just BITS Hyderabad but the first-ever academy from across India to partner with BITS for this prestigious sports fest.”
